Hi there! I'm Amy, and I love the challenge and joy of making interesting pictures from seemingly boring or mundane surroundings. Sometimes I get to see incredible landscapes or architectural masterpieces, but most of my photos come from right outside my door.

Photography invites (sometimes forces) me to slow down and pay attention to the world around me. Details and complexity start to emerge if I will simply be still and watch and wait. I find great delight in the patterns and textures of life, and I hope that these images communicate some of that wonder to you.
